Cary Deck Remodel

This porch and exterior project in Silver Lake, Cary focused on improving access and usability across the backyard. The existing deck was small and limited how the homeowners could move between the house and outdoor spaces.

The deck was converted into a screened-in porch, creating a comfortable, covered area directly off the home. A skylight and ceiling fan were added to keep the space bright and comfortable, even during warmer months. New stairs were introduced at the back of the home, providing a clear connection from the screened porch down to a newly built patio and deck area below.

By creating a stronger relationship between the home and the backyard, this project transformed how the outdoor spaces are used. The finished result offers a more intentional layout, improved circulation, and a layered outdoor experience that feels well connected rather than segmented.
